Guest NISSAN4EVER
Has anyone ever had any experience running the apexi power fc in map? I want to build a itb rb25de and was told I could use the apexi fc for the task. Instead of using a completely new standalone. I'd like to know if anyone has some usefull info or experience regaurding this. Thank you all for your time.
Evan Purple240zt
Is the RB25DET power FC available in D-jetro version? I am almost positive that is how the map version is named. Also, apexi just discontinued the power FC. Seems as if something different for 07 should be coming out. Evan You may want to search the 240sxforums or nico.com for more info on that. Guest NISSAN4EVER
Both sorry to say are dead ends. Ya The d-jetro is what I'm refering to. I'm 90% sure it will be fine for my app but I was just wondering if I'm following anyone footsteps or what. On a related topic does anyone know where I can find one? M3This
Apexi is going out of business in Japan so I would steer clear of their parts. Might want to check out HKS FCon Pro, but im pretty sure that can only be tunned by HKS Pro Dealers. Another option is to check out the AEM EMS. Evan Purple240zt
Apex is going out of business? Wow. I did not know of that. Regardless, I have no problem endorsing the FC product. Sounds to me like a full standalone may be the way to go. Also, the AEM EMS is pretty nice from what I have heard (just to go along with what M3 said). M3This
Apex is going out of business? Wow. I did not know of that. Yea in Japan and here in the States they are having a lot of financial problems.
Guest QuantumDragon
PFC's are pretty solid; I don't think there'd be a problem either. An AEM EMS is also a VERY viable option if it's available. They are very nice to work with but they have more functionality, therefore require a very skilled tuner to maintain drivability.
