nscason
I have a 77 and done a lot of upgrades. zxt injectors, zxt fpr and billet fuel rail. before my stock fpr took a dump it was running at 30psi. It went out and i had a zxt fpr so I put that one on. Now it runs at 60psi. As soon as I get the rest of the parts that I need I'm going to put on a mallory universal fpr all done up with -8an. I do have a lot of ign, intake and exhaust parts. My question is what is the difference and what is better to run the fuel presser at? I don't have a air to fuel ratio gauge or a computer to hook my car up to. Do i need to get the air to fuel set up? Or as long as the pressure isn't to low it doesnt really matter? No one that I know has been able to give me a solid answer besides more psi more gas consumption. Keep in mind this is my daily driver and I'm a college student. If anyone could give me some insight on this issue that would be great.
