80LS1T
Here are some more pics of the 3 piece spoiler. This has been quite a challange for me to get it perfect but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! Guy
80LS1T
Well the car is at the painters! Should be done before next weekend! Hopefully I can get this thing back on the road before the end of June! Guy
80LS1T
Well it's past the end of June and it's still not on the road! Tranny is being rebuilt this week and hopefully if all goes right it will be ready to install for this upcoming weekend! Cross your fingers! I also installed some Bi-Xenon FX35 projector headlights! The projector housing are custom built to hold the FX35 projectors out of fiberglass. There is more info in the Body/Paint forum. Here's the "box" I made to house the ballast so that it wont get wet. Its a PCV end cap with a fiberglass top siliconed on top of it... I also bought new wheels... They are Sport Max 962's 18x7.5" in front and 18x9.5" in the rear! Mmmmmmm dish! All I know is I can't wait to drive this thing and to have all my friends to quite asking me if it's done yet!
80LS1T
Well I have a few projects for the next couple months... 1. slot the rear subframe and install cam bolts so that I can adjust the rear camber and toe. 2. Install nitrous kit(wet). Which will include... 3 pod a-pillar, nitrous pressure guage, fuel pressure gauge, fuel pressure saftey switch, window switch, progressive controller, MSD retard box, blow down kit for bottle, bottle warmer controlled by pressure switch, and a dual purge kit. 3. Rewire the car with a painless kit. I need to get everything on relays and new wiring. I had a small electrical issue with my fan set up and my car over heated, so the old 28 year old wiring is going bye bye!(no damage but it was a long night getting it towed home!). 4. Install 2 10" subs, Amp, and new Deck. This will be my first car sound system, never been a fan of the big boom booms but after riding in a few cars with nice systems I have changed my mind. Nothing too crazy just something to give it a little thump! Thank god for my Grandparents who gave me way too much money for Xmas! 80LS1T
Well I just finished rewiring the whole car! It took me about 2 months to do it but it's done. I have been really working on it a lot for the last 3 weeks. I used a painless harness and I must say it was very straight forward and pretty "painless" if you ask me. I don't know why people say these kits are hard to install? I am now working on installing the nitrous kit and setting up the subs and amp. I don't know if I'm going to get to slotting the sub-frame before I get it back on the road. I may wait to do that until I can get it to work on my hoist. I think it will be much easier that way. I would post some pics but its just wiring and not much to see! Once the nitrous kit is installed I'll post pics of that! Mmmmmmm JUICE!
