Got my engine today. Its beautiful. Of course the machine shop showed me the reciept of how much I paid, and It hurt a bit. 1.3 Grand, on machine work....

 

Oh well. Its beautiful, putting it together right now.

0 decked block

Comp 12-242-2 268/280 .477 .480 cam

Torker II

Holley 750

 

Hopin for High 300s low 400s.

Hehe

Gonna have fun with this one. Compression is on the border of 10-10.5, but is pump gassable

1.3 Grand on machine work....sounds like you've got a very tightly machined low tolerance packaged set up your running! Congrats on reaching this point of the conversion.

 

I CAN HARDLY WAIT TILL I FIRE IT UP! Oh wait, this isnt my engine is it(?) Darn it!

 

What cyl.heads & trans are you going with?

Milled, studded, and ported chevy heads. CCs are down around 50-60. wink.gif

 

Turbo 350 with a 3.54 rear end. Should work nicely. Not too much freeway.
