Guest Anonymous
"if you shorten you use MR2 upfront and 240fronts in the rear with a spacer as they are too short for the rear use as they are" my question is about this, Ive never heard any mention about using spacers for the front struts in the back. what kind of spacer? like a bit at the bottom of the strut housing? Im just lost =) thanks Sid
johnc
Yes, you put a spacer under the shock insert.
Guest Anonymous
can you give me a litle details about the spacer? how thick of a spacer v.s how tall the section taken out? thanks
Guest scca
you only want to section the rear struts about 2" anymore than that and its too low. you want about a 2" section under the front insert.
Guest Thurem
depending on how much you section your struts you will have to fabricate a spacer out of a suitable material, ie. exhaustpiping. You wanna make it long enough so the shock insert wont slosh around inside the struthousing. Thure
