more strut sectioning questions

"if you shorten you use MR2 upfront and 240fronts in the rear with a spacer as they are too short for the rear use as they are"

 

my question is about this, Ive never heard any mention about using spacers for the front struts in the back. what kind of spacer? like a bit at the bottom of the strut housing? Im just lost =)

depending on how much you section your struts you will have to fabricate a spacer out of a suitable material, ie. exhaustpiping. You wanna make it long enough so the shock insert wont slosh around inside the struthousing.
