I believe it bumps up the idle or helps stabilize the idle when there is more load on the engine (when a/c is on). :Is it only present on series 2 RB25DET? I'm sure it also came on the 1st RB engines, maybe just in a different shape or location.... :confused:The info I get from the internet's shop manual is not accurate on this particular device.
