The car has a small amount of rust (for being in NC) and the guy wants 2k obo for it. It doesnt run because of "no battery and a valve problem." My question is what will it cost me to get the thing in running condition or swap in an l28et? (theres one in a junkyard for $400) Also, what do yall think I should offer him? Some of that stuff looks pretty old. My guess, for your location it might be worth that price. In AZ, for a car that doesn't run I'd be looking at $500. Its still for sale but he is asking 1200 and the street flares are not included because I have those now. AK-Z Posted January 22, 2007 Share Posted January 22, 2007 I wish mine were in that condition. For $2000, I would of said to pass it up (because of it not running and valve problem). For $1200, I say go for it. About $200 to replace the head (inless you want to rebuild that one) and electrical just takes time to find the problem.
