whis
Hey all, How does one pull the shock out of the strut tube. I'm trying to get all my parts to powdercoat (Good idea or bad idea? The powdercoat that is.) and I the shock will not come out of the tube. I was under the impression that it just sorta came out when you pulled but... Should I just put it in a vise and yank or...? Thanks, Whis
vashonz
Pull harder. If there is oil in the housing (there should be) it can hydraulically lock the insert in there. There was a thread recently about drilling holes in the tube, search for that for solutions.
