Guest jcp240z Posted March 17, 2002 Share Posted March 17, 2002 That is what is typically used. Mark Sayer used sell these years ago. What you do is remove the rubber differential strap. At the top center drill a hole just large enough to pass the bump stop stud through. Use washers as spacers between the stop and the strap. A nylock on top to secure it. You'll need to unbolt the front of the diff and lower it alittle to install the strap. Then jack it up and tighten. The idea is that the bump stop loads the rubber strap.
