j_eremy
Ok, Im finaly ready to spend money after much reading and honesty with self. I have decided to go with the jtr kit. I am going to put a 350 in my 81 zx. here is the question, how will a 300 hp/300ft lb engine move my z. I have perchased a 355, with a shcnieder stage 2 cam, offenhouser 360 manifold and it comes with a 670 cfm holley street avenger carb. I paid 1200 for the engine. the owner said it has a 9-1 comp. after his son recked the 81 camaro it was in, he said he is putting him in a slower vehicle. the engine has 20k on it. I also want to retain drivability, say if I want to make the trip to vagas in it. thanks Jeremy
grumpyvette
the first thing ID do is REPLACE the OFFY 360 intake with a EDELBROCK AIR GAP RPM INTAKE, youll easily notice the differance in MUCH improved low and mid rpm torque with little to no loss in high rpm power. offy makes some great intakes but the 360 series was not amoung them
