Guest jbbatten21 Posted March 28, 2007 Share Posted March 28, 2007 Well when my 2.4 finally gave out in my 240z, I decided to do the 280zxt swap. I love HYBRIDZ. You guys have helped me so much with the choices, and problems on my 240z. I just found a L28et at a junkyard not too far from where I am in college. The engine was pulled from a wrecked 81 Turbo that showed 125k when parted out. When I got there I found it didn't have the turbo on it, which worked out great as I got a nice discount on the engine. I plan on running the Holset Hy35w anyways. I plan on getting it torn down here shortly to inspect everything. I cannot wait until I get my Z back running again. I am new to the turbo thing and plan on running megasquirt. I am glad I have hybridz, because I know I will need it here soon! Here are a few pictures.
