82Beach Turbo Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 My fuel pump sometimes shuts off, I checked my haynes manual @ the fuel system...it says there should be a fuel pump relay#2 & #3 in the engine bay (pass. side inside black box)<--found that in car but dont see it anywhere on the electrical schematics for an '82 Turbo, should I worry about these or is there a website with fuel pumps under $400.00 for an 82 turbo? 280zwitha383 Posted April 8, 2007 Share Posted April 8, 2007 Is this affecting performance? I would think that it's not a problem with your fuel pump, if there is actually a problem. Usually once a pump gets going it doesn't shut off and come back on unless there's a short.
