  1. must be doing something wrong...I have screwed the bleeder valve in as far as it will go still not stopping the fluid from coming out, has anybody had this problem or am I doing something wrong??
  2. that would explain why one bleeder keeps pumping fluid and the other is not....and why I dont have brakes..... Thanks for the help guys......
  3. That sounds right to me also but what stops the brake fluid from continuing to pump out of the bleeder valve once the air pockets are gone??
  4. I have just got done rebuilding my front end suspension and upgrading my front brakes...I bought speed bleeders because this is a one man project...Question is..do these relpace the original fittings.
  5. Like I said I love the gas cars, maybe a bad choice of wording on my part, I meant the idea of taking the shell of a Z with $ not an issue and blowin the socks off of an unsuspecting victim with something like a hydro fueled Z thats all I personally love all the mods everyone does on this site, its where I get ideas for my Z, and I dont plan on pumping anything but Gasoline in mine, Just a thought I had
  6. I have found out my pump was bad, not any relays, thanks for all the input. I searched the world for a GOOD QUALITY fuel pump for a cheap price, answer,......Carpartswholesale.com Found a Delphi fuel pump that is made for the 82-83 ZX Turbo, comes with mounting bracket and all fittings... $150.00.....way cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Hope this helps you guys out........
  7. My fuel pump sometimes shuts off, I checked my haynes manual @ the fuel system...it says there should be a fuel pump relay#2 & #3 in the engine bay (pass. side inside black box)<--found that in car but dont see it anywhere on the electrical schematics for an '82 Turbo, should I worry about these or is there a website with fuel pumps under $400.00 for an 82 turbo?
  8. let me start over...this problem most often occurs during a cold start (ie in the morning starting the car for the first time of the day) While warming up/ or just getting to correct idle rpms she sometimes "cuts off" I know this description is vague. There is no hessitation from lack of 02, has a good charge and spark, doesnt stutter or cough from lack of fuel, the fuel pump does go out from time to time, which I cannot narrow down if it is a loose connection or bad relay. When the car shuts off there is no "warning signs", the rpms drop to zero and the car dies...but i can immediatley restart the vehicle. this problem has been happening since I've owned it @ 4yrs. This problem has only happened once or twice while driving. Any other info i have left out I will gladly post...
  9. Vinh, First...your yellow ZXT is Beautiful...What did you do to the front to make the lines between the hood and msa disapear???
  10. Looks real nice...I just got my front Type II a couple days ago...are you guys beefing up the whole thing???
  11. Thanks for the input guys..........I love this site and realize I can't afford a girlfriend until I get done rehab'n the Z.............
  12. I am getting ready to take my front bumper cover and I think the front grille also if the msa front air dam II replaces it, only thing is it's coming off a turbo.
