v80z
Looking for the best deal on a shifter for a GM t5 1992 Also on ebay I noticed PRO 5.0 is selling a shifter that fits both t5 and t56. Does one shifter fit all? Can a gm t56 shifter fit a gm t5 shifter? I might find a deal on a stock t56 shifter that someone has upgraded. IdfMF
I got the PRO 5.0 for $199 delivered off Ebay. Bruce at Modern Driveline highly recommends. It's a very stout piece compared to the Hurst model. I do believe it fits both T5 and T56. I am using on a T5.
v80z
Think this would work on a t5? http://cgi.ebay.com/93-02-CHEVY-CAMARO-FIREBIRD-T56-RACING-SHORT-SHIFTER-98_W0QQitemZ270109293147QQihZ017QQcategoryZ33736QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
DavyZ
I lucked out and finally was able to score a new Pro 5.0 for a GM WC T5 for $135 shipped from ebay (ad said used, but it was definitely new). This was after watching for a deal like this over 2 years. I would have gone with a Hurst Billet Plus just the same, but I couldn't find a "deal." Anyway, be careful of an off brand like that. I looks like a B&M knock off. Buy a name brand if you can. They should state if it is for your application. If all they have is a part number, you can Google search it and find out the applications that way. Good luck. Davy
