rich280zxt
Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to this site. I bought my first car, its an '83 280zxt. I just bought a dual side intercooler (24x12x3") However, I haven't bought piping for it yet, before I can put the intercooler in, the stock air filter, electric fan and I think the A/C unit that sits in front of the radiator has to be removed in order for the intercooler to fit behind the bumper shocks. Has anyone installed a large dual side i/c in a 280zxt? I would like to get some ideas as to what I'm up against. The i/c is 3", I have the bov and 3" flange and 60mm t/b and I wouldn't mind running 3" pipe, so long as everything fits.. If anyone has some pictures please post them/ I've already searched for i/c piping pictures on this site, and the only thing I came across were those with FMIC and pipes that run around the front of the radiator. I'm looking for about 300whp with stock internals and turbo, keep in mind that I'm running on a student budget here haha, but any suggestions would be appreciated!
