fentin_fury
Well I braved another lapping day at Mosport last week with the 240z GTR. I did not change much - the oil pressure guage, sending unit, etc. (now all Autometer). Mysteriously the falling pressure has disappeared. This is a good thing - and I believe true. So before anyone runs out in a panic to remove the oil from the head - run a mechanical guage. Note that my oil pressure was rock steady at 80psi once up to operating temperature. Careless
This is good news =) Glad to hear it was all ok, Q! I'm wondering whether or not I should install the rear head drain, as I've seen two-sided figures on that whole bit. Some say that the oil won't even fully make it back to the sump, and you'd have about a quarter of a litre or more suspended in a line that won't do any good if not in the pan or the head.
