HICKL
OK, I picked up some 8" wide draglites with a 5" offset. They came with some 11.5 wide cheater slicks. Only problem is I have to run a 1/4 spacer to keep them from rubbing on the strut tower. I will get longer wheel studs. This being said, is there a real safety issue with running wheel spacers if eveything is done right? Thanks Jeff
jt1
If the spacers are made of quality material and fit properly, and the studs and nuts are upgraded, I don't think they present a problem at all. Usually the people who have trouble with spacers have some cobbled together mess. John

MY77Z
jeff, did you roll your inner fenders lips? and BTW, where to get some high quality spacers?
HICKL
jeff, did you roll your inner fenders lips? and BTW, where to get some high quality spacers? I have done no more than bolt the wheels on. I need to do something as those tires are pretty wide. I may end up going with a narrower tire.
gearheadstik
These cars are not hub centric... That will be a waste of money...We have people running cheap spacers like the one your using making over 800hp and pulling the front end a few feet off the ground... Just do not go very thick.. HICKL
I have 1/4" thick ones in there now with room to spare.
