Please Help Not for my Z

OK I put a MS on my Jeep as a test unit for my Z. I would like to let the MS control the spark, but I've been having a lot of trouble with it. So I put a GM HEI and a MSD 6A in and I got it kinda tuned. I'm now ready to tune it past the Idle portion, I've now run into a block, I went to hook up the Vac. Advance, and I discovered that the Jeep intake and TB has no provisions for ported vac.

 

I've been thinking that if I bore a hole just above the TB's blades and thread a nipple into it that would work, is there anything else I need to think about? Thanks for any help you might be able to offer. Keith
