Guest pinky
I'm trying to get a 4L60 out of a '05 Silverado to work in my 260Z. The engine will be a carbed 5.3 Gen III, so I need to run some sort of stand alone transmission controller...what did you guys use? I have the 350sbc/TH350 mount swap kit.... how do I get the 4L60 to work with that transmission mount? Any help will be GREATLY appreciated! Pics to come! DRTY260Z
The way I got mine in was with a sledgehammer (a really big one) when that didn't work I bugged the Sh*t out of my friends until they gave me the finger and kicked out of their house and to stop bugging them, as this was happening they told me whose building the car me or them... And to figure it out on my own...just like they did. j.k What you can also do is bolt up an older 350 trans and buy the special torque converter if you are willing to live without the o/d
wheelman
Would a 700R4 work? It's basically the same as the 4L60E but no computer. Wheelman
specialk
A very recent hot rod/chevy hi performance magazine had an article on exactly this. Go to www.primedia.com (IIRC) and search through their magazines for stories with 4L60, you should be able to find what you're looking for.
