389Z
I have a tag inset into my glove box that says Nordskrog 350Z. I have done a little research and they appear to have been another shop similar to Scarab who did conversions. Any know any other history on this? BTW - My newly built 383 is running great and I can tell you after seven months, it feels great to drive it. Bill

jbk240z
Ah, the old Nordskrog conversion... They did sell a conversion kit back in the 80's. I remember HotRod magazine did a conversion on a 240Z using this kit. I think that this was 1983, 84, or 85. I saved that mag for many years, heck it was the mag that got me bitten by the Z bug. Anyway, about 1993, I called up the Nordskrog guys and they had the very last kit, which I promptly bought, although a few pieces were missing. It was a pretty good kit. Now the magazine and the kit are long gone, don't ask why unless you want to hear a 6-pack long story. The last I remember about the Nordskrog guys was that they were into offshore boat racing. The issue in question was Hot Rod mag, May 1985.
Pete84
How did it differ from kits offered by say JTR?
jbk240z
The "N" kits have engine placement like the scarab kits.
jhaag
I just uploaded a 15 page article (over several issues of Hot Rod Magazine from May, June, July and September of 1985) into my gallery (jhaag). They use some Nordskog parts in their project of a putting a 350 engine in a 240. Articles, and the ads, from 1985 are like they are from a time capsule. jhaag
Schwiplarkin: Hello! No, I have never raced at Bandimere. I've gone to spectate a couple times. My ZX, unfortunately, tends to spend far too much time in the garage while I 'think about things' for a long time - at this rate I will be 106 years old before the car is 'done'. I spent a lot of time modifying the steering and still have a little work to do although it is back together again. I've driven it about 10 miles this year I live near Porter Hospital and work at DU. Where are you located? John
