Guest hawkhunter Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 I'm stumped on this one. 94 LT1. Starts easy, idles smooth, runs great. After 15-30 minutes, it kills. Will turn over, but not start. No codes on scanner. I replaced ICM, no change, COIL, no change . Fuel pressure seems good. Right after it kils, I get no spark. Let it cool down, tho and it fires right up and repeats the whole process. I've owned the car about 2 months, put 3000 miles or so on it with no issues. Former owner claimed he had just replaced the opt-spark and with only 3k miles, I think that shouldn't be the issue. I kind of think it's heat related but with no codes I don't know what to check after replacing the ICM and coil. Any help out there? Thanks. As it began warming up, one channel of the Optispark would start going erratic, and kill the engine. Let it cool down for a few minutes and start the process all over.
