MMS Disc Brake - Drivers Side Brake Line

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to install my MMS 240sx rear disk brake kit on my 280z. I've done the passenger side and it fit up great. I'm having a hell of a time getting the stainless line to fit up on the drivers side so it won't rub anything. Please post up some pictures so I can see how you've routed yours.

I'm also interested in pictures of how the e-brake bracket and lines are routed.

Thanks!

Tim

I wound up bending the 20" hard line down slightly to ease the transition into the wheel well. It's not an ideal solution, but it works for now.

For the parking brake cables, remove the hangers and swap them so that the cables cross. Hook them up to the calipers after everything else is assembled. Mine looked like they may rub on the half shafts but so far it hasn't been a problem. I'll try to take some pictures tonight.

I tried bleeding the brakes and its my first time wasted half a gallon of brake fluid and its still not working . A freind a work asked me if i inverted the calipers like they say the right on the left and etc , i said i did then he told me thats your problem the bleeder is at the bottom and needs to be on top . I felt stupid for a couple hours . Im gonna switch them back on their original side left on left r on r and try it again .

Dunno if its installed right the bracket ears are towards the front of the car .
