zdmz Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 I took the front suspension off the car and found that the holes on one side for the lower control arm are out of round. What is the correct way to repair this? I am thinking that I can weld just the out of round part to add some material there and then drill it back to round. Warren Posted June 29, 2007 Share Posted June 29, 2007 Funny you should ask this.... Click In all actuallity, you should be able to mig weld it just fine. I only used my TIG since it was available and I was a little concerned with proper penetration of a mig weld not being attainable since its actually 3 pieces of steel with who knows what in between (air, corrosion, etc).
