Been available for a while now as web says, just haven't got to updating more info with pricing and pics. Occupied with work and summer mod frenzies helping others. I have to apologize for my slow web updates, customer product needs have been the priority so please feel free to inquire personally when you have q's as I've rarely had time for the web lately. Setup is $850 and that's 13"x1.1" Brembo rotors, guaranteed to satisfy ALL needs 2thumbs.gif , aluminum PBR calipers, brackets, custom SS braided lines, to bolt onto a 5lug converted 280ZX. I can and have supplied the 5lug conversion parts as well including fully redone front hubs and rear stub axles. Sean here as installed the full setup. A 2 piece 13" rotor setup for 4lug 280ZX's (and 5luggers) will be available in short order as soon as someone inquires for their own 280ZX setup. I'm presently putting out some 4lug Z 13" 2 piece setups. Pricing for those is not concrete yet as final items are just being made and then all costs will be realized. Specs and performance on both are Xtreme (anyone like 13" 1.1"rotors with massive swept area's that weigh ~10lbs and serve all needs;), a typical 4x4 0.8" vented rotor even weighs more)and combined with a very long lived system cheers.gif

SCCA, do you know if the rear brakes from the 87-89 300zx would fit, a 280ZX, and would they be a significant upgrade? I know they are vented and are probably a little larger than the 280zx disks. Also, do the calipers have integrated e-brake, or do they used that funky drum in the hat e-brake like the 90-96 zx?

the 87-8 brakes are A LOT larger than a 280zx..

its not a easy bolt on though so welding is required -- havent tried rears those may work easier - i have used these on a early z before as a cheap upgrade.. the fronts are frickin huge for oem stuff

Mike,

Yes it's the same car and the intercooler turned out great after alittle cutting and welding. I just didn't like the way HKS must have intended the pipes to go. After I got done I has about 2' of pipe left out of all you sent me. Not sure how they were running it but, it must have been crazy.

Back to the brakes for the 87-89. Do you have to weld on new mounting taps or what? Can you atleast steer me in the right direction for now?

It would be awhile before I even attempted something like this but, I always thought it might be possible and like the part about sticking to Nissan parts.
