I have been thinking about something for autocross/solo events and a little road use. Something VERY light and easy to work on. In a relativly modest budget. Any way after a LOT of research I think I am going to convert a formula ford to a full body car. You can pick up formula fords that are not the very latest for a good price if you dont mind looking around. Then I would do a conversion to some kind of custom body like http://dsr.racer.net/chassis/wynnfurst/page1.htm . Also possibly convert to a better motor to. Any way I know it sounds a little crazy but should be an interesting project. I personaly do not like a lot of the choices the made but its good to see it will work on the street.
