Careless
hey guys, What do you think is a good size for the primaries and the stepped tubing that I would need to design a nice set of long tubes for the RB-Dirty (my new name for 3.0 litre ITB-RB30/26...remember it!) I want to start mapping out where I'm giong to line up my exhaust cutout, and I'd want it to be about a foot or two away from the collector. But I'm not sure what size an engine like this should collect to. I'm sure it matters on engine efficiency and exhaust flow as well, but generally, what does a 24valve 3 litre usually bode well with? I was thinking 2.75 at the collector, but I'm having trouble finding that in an electronic cutout. I was also thinking 3, but that sounds too big for N/A.. and 2.5 sounds a touch too small for a 3.0 litre RB. do you think 2.5 will be fine, or should I attempt to go with a 3 for the cutouts that tapers into a 2.5 for the muffler end? And primary sizes? what say youzzzz!? Raff
