i know i dont have a 300 but at least it'll be another rb25 in Mi :) looking good man if jitter can get me a rb30 i'll be tearing into mine this winter ;)

I was actually lookin for another rb30 yesterday. Good GOD they are cheap down there. I have also been looking for rb25de heads without vct, they arent as easy to come by. But we could always go with a rb26 head, but those cost a mint.

I would rather just bolt a head on rather than tap it and put oil drains into it.

Its a good thing you didnt go out on sunday for track time, it was raining down here. Sat would have been perfect.

yeah i contemplated an rb30 but i decided to do the rb25

this as movin kinda slow my summer budget got nuked but i am getting all the internals for the motor in october along with the turbo.

i am concentrating on fab work at the moment. i found a parts Z and got the subframes off it so i am getting those all cleaned up and modifying the front mounts :-D

was going to finish pulling the VG this weekend but i got talked into going to DSM shootout in norwalk ohio. my buddy dave is running his low 10 sec EVO in it :-D

i am shootin for the Z to beat him while he is on his low boost map a mere 515 at the wheels lol

oh racinjitter have you fabbed up your power steering lines yet. i was comtemplating those this past weekend while i was tearing stuff apart

I havent fabbed up the lines yet, I havent had the time. They are 90% done though. I will get at the lines in a few weeks as of right now. I have woodward this weekend, WMZ meet and wedding next weekend. Hopefully once I get my gaskets for the clsd I can get it all done at the same time.

the VG is mostly out now. i have not had a good weekend to do any major work.

i am buying the bottom end components in 2 weeks an beginign assembly of the RB motor. at the same time i will be modifying the mounts.

i will have some more pics up in a couple weeks once the major work begins.

if anybody knows where i can get a good deal on a GT35R that would be awsome as well :-D

Looks like you want to run the same turbo as I will be running next year. I have it sitting in the basement waiting for the Wolf EMS.

Also I found out that there is another rbZ31 running here in Mi. It is this car.... DSC_0011.jpg.

img0212cj1.jpg

The old owner from florida sold it on ebay and local detroiter bought it. Yep he is running A/C and PS. I wish I had A/C.

I have been trying to contact the owner to join up on some forums to give a little more info about it. But from what I am told the engine/turbo is stock.

yeah i have a line on a used gt35r. a buddy of mine want to upgrade the one on his mercedes ( custome sick turbo setup on his E Class)

we will see how it goes. i just hate blowin half my fall car budget on a turbo but i don't want to go "cheap" on something like this

I pulled the engine/tranny out of the parts car this past weekend. I decided to drop everything out the bottom, there was like 20 bolts total to get it out. With working on the ground it took me about a hour and a half to get it out. It is much harder to pull everything from the top from my experiences.

hey triple b what are you doing with your old rods and pistons? I know i broke at least one piston and i wanna have a running block either for spare or i will stick it in my sonoma. Post some more pics man ;)

i was going to put some more pics up today when i got home

actually i have all my rods and pistons and was not really going to do anything with them the caps will mot come off a couple of them when i put them back on (unbolted) so if you want some of them they are yours
