twistex
ok i have a 1975 280z wth a 1983 280zxt motor. harness computer maf all that is from 83. the 280zxt i had running perfect before removal. i wired everything up as far as the sticky says. coil ignitor contants switched start signals fuel pump relay yada yada yada. anyways when i pull the coil wire off the cap and put it next to some metal to see it send sparks as i crank it. it only sparks 1 time per second or like revolutions. it should sprak every time the rotor passes the cap on each of the 6 cyl. i dont know whats going on . and when i go from ignition on to off it sends a spark. anyone know why it could be doing this ? VinhZXT
This is normal. You had just verified that your crank angle sensor still working.
