scottyMIz
The pictures and descriptions below are not aimed at any particular company or persons, only what i have done to this truck to fix it and make it suitable for the owner well guys i have been working on orlando's truck again had to take a break to work on other customers trucks. Did a sweet f350 with six doors and an extended cab, very nice i might add here is a pic of the f350. and one more of her leaving the owners were driving her all the way back to colorado........ a really nice woman owned this truck ad told her hubby that he cant drive it ok ok here is orlando's truck: I had to rebuild the housing that was built for the tv because i was not happy with the was it was assembled and it wouldn't hold the weight for what i was planning. So the structure is all steel tubing now and secured to the truck with bolts. here is the top of the old enclosure... yes that is a seam.... here is another shot of before, the main structure was held with screws but all the covering was held with brad nails. I didn't like the wood used either it was that card board type stuff and it made me nervous. We used a combonation of plywood and MDF along with a big ol 2x4 to hold the top on. Pic of it in the new frame work: Oh yea check this out there are four screws holding the tv to the tv housing and one was cut short and siliconed in........ there are about four of us working on the truck now so it's going much faster but i am calling all the shots. One guy we have working for us is mikey and that guys is a god with metal. The other two are newbies to the world of customizing but they work their butts off. here is mikey doing the lettering on the new sub box here is the tv housing all nuzzled in it's new home and the tv in the new housing, only has one cover on the speakers so it looks kinda funny shop dog in the background stanley the shop dogg another of stanley
scottyMIz
ok part two, laptop lost it's power cord and i was scared to loose all i wrote This is why i rebuilt the tv rack, the amps needed a home too here is the tv half up but has both speaker covers on(just a lil dusty) here is the wiring for the crossovers for the mid and high end speakers the amp cover before foam and wrap the amp cover after foam and with the alton and kicker logos. now the fun stuff, the sub box after being covered in black suede. Kinda hard to read the lettering in this pic but i wanted it subtle, nothing like what other companies use the amp cover after the suede another shot of the sub box before lighting and after i love this shot and it looks better in person sorry it's not very clear it's hard to take a pic with no flash and hold it perfectly still. I have some of the center that i remade and i had to relocate alot of stuff. I'll get some pics of the front tomorrow where i made changes, had to move the cruise control it was in the center council under the arm rest. It is now in the dash, that took me a while but turned out very nice. I really hope he likes the changes we made and hope he tells alot of people so i can do more custom stuff like this. More pics to come
alexideways
I hate limos, I hate trucks (which arent for working or off-road purposes) and even more limo. trucks but, I have to admit that you've done some great work on that thing. It's one of the only limo. truck that I've seen that doesn't have a banana shape towards the ground.

scottyMIz
thanks pete, couldn't get an outside pic today we had to make custom mounts for the fog lights since the bumped wasn't fabbed with mounting blocks(imo this is a better way to go) i'll get pics tomorrow of one of the newbie's doing the brackets for the lights and a front pic. I was working on the amp rack a bit more, had to make the wires travel right with the amps and tv. Should have the tv in tomorrow.
