tkach
Okay after endlessly searching threw my wiring diagram I have one question that I need answered. It’s the only question I have left about my dash(i think). What does the red blue wire that connects to the light-bulb on my dash gauges do? Is it a ground? Does it need power? What do I do with it as far as hooking it up. On my new harness I have a wire for instrument lights however that runs to the old position of the green white wire. What do I do ?? I’m very confused at this point help ! stock gauges btw.
ktm
The red with blue is your POWER wire(s) for the dash lights. The ground for 240z dash lights is contained within the bulb assembly- there is a small metal plate that contacts the gauge housing thus grounding the light. tkach
so what does the green white wire do then?
2003z
not positive, but memory tells me its the parking light circuit, or some other external lights.
