Guest r33pickup
ok i just become the proud new owner of a 77 280. its got a crap-ton done to the engine already..but its been sitting and has basically rusted away...framerails, rockers, doors, floorpans you name it its rusted.. should i look for a shell to put the engine in or start the long laborious process of fixing all the rust? Guest r33pickup
ok sounds good....know where i could find one?
mark
I've bought two Z cars that were rust free Z cars from California. One was bought from a fellow I had done some business with ( I asked him to locate a nice shell for me) and another was from a member here. I had them shipped to NC and still came out way ahead. It would have cost more in repair work than it cost to have them shipped. Take your time and you will find a nice one.
ihatejoefitz
I'm going to agree with mark. Start saving for a good shell, but keep your ear to the ground while doing so. Good shells can be found here in missouri, but it takes a lot of looking. -Joe
