Warren
If anybody has changed their gauges to Autometer and is looking for EXACTLY the right color paint to paint their remaining stock gauge needles to make them match the Autometer stuff, I've found the right stuff. It's a plastic model paint manufactured by The Testor Corporation, bottled and sold aunder the name of Model Master Custom Enamel System. The color name is Flourescent Red and the color number is FS28915. It's a Semi Gloss paint that when painted over the stock white (beige by now I'm sure) needles, comes out as the identical color as the stock Autometer needles in their Sport Comp, Pro Comp and other dark faced gauges that use orangish red needles. Be aware, it's a little pricey at $4.95 or so a 1/2 ounce, but for those who want a perfect match, that's not alot. I found it at HobbyTown USA...check your local hobby shop. Black labeled & black capped glass jar. Just a tip for those who are interested. Warren
