tommyboy
Okay, I know this is probably a stupid question, but I just wanna make sure before I buy some. I wanna get aftermarket Oil Pressure, Volt, Water Temp., and Fuel gauges for my '81 N/A 2+2, but I need to know if I need mechanical or electrical ones. Thankx. tommyboy
Yeah, I'm lookin for an easy install kind of situation. If I get electrical ones, can I plug 'em right into the stock dash wiring harness once I find the right wires for the right gauges?
hoov100
aftermarket gauges have their own senders, the only thing you would be able to use is the wiring for the lights..
tickwon
I have electrical in mine, (oil temp, oil pressure, and EGT) the only mechanical gauge I have is boost. But yes in most cases electrical is the easiest IMO.
