David K
alright guys i have some questions that i need assistance in answering. I have a set of 205-50-15 tires. They are brand new in the garage. I wasnt to run them on my 15" snowflakes. My 79 has the 130mph speedo. Original wheel/tire combo was 14". To my understanding, if i use 15" wheels/tires, my speedo will be off by some. Does anyone know by chance how much that "some" will be? I also know there are different colored cogs for the transmission side of the speedo cable. I have blue. So all this being said, how off will my speedo be and can i correct this with a different cog? what color?

I could explain how the numbers relate to each other, but you don't want to sit through all that. Go HERE for one of the better tire calculators on the web. Just enter the size of the stock tire, and the size of the tire you're going with, and it will calculate all sorts of good things. Even tells you how fast you're really going when your speedo reads 60mph.
David K
wow it says my car is reading 60mph, i am actually going 63.9mph. therefore i am going to use these tires, but just get lowering springs.
