I just bought a set of tokico springs, and installed them. That was fun! My question is, 2 of the spings are shorter.I installed the taller springs in the front and the shorter springs in the back.Didnt realise what i was doing untill i had the front all done.Could someone tell me if this is right.Called tokico but you have to leave a message. They never returned my call. fmad.gif Any info would be helpful.

Thanks

Thanks....KZ.I did what you said. I put the tall springs in back, and short springs in the front. That was fun. It sits up better, but rubs in the back. The back wheels are pointed inward.Talked to a guy today in town and he said i need to get the back alined?

Is this true?

Thanks again for your help.

Well....John Scott

Its a 1978 280z...with a 350.It did sit pretty high with factory springs but they felt weak. The rear was higher, and the front was lower. I took everything apart and the factory spings are all the same size.I could push the factory springs down with all my weight on them.I only weight 180lbs :D .So i bought new springs. Struts are another story. All the struts were bad.You could move the strut rod very freely. When i put the tokico springs on i noticed that 2 of them were taller. A buddy of mine was there watching me and he said the tall ones go in front. He has a 65 mustang, and said that is what he did to his.So i put the tall springs in the front and the short springs in the back.I knew something wasnt right because the short springs didnt touch the top of the spring perch. So i swicted them like kz said and they fit alot better, and the car sits better. But the springs i got lowered it 1inch. Now its very low to the ground.I really wasnt looking for that kind of setup(to low) but it drives like a new car.It was a major job having to redo it twice.I learned a very good lesson.Do your research ! bonk.gif
