jaime240z
Hopefully someone out there has an answer to this one. '72 240Z with coil-overs and wheel adapters from Modern-Motorsports. The wheels are 17x7.5 and 40 offset. I was supposed to buy a set of 17x7 wheels which would have fit for sure, but that deal fell through. I am also going to try to contact Ross with this quest. I am just wondering (hoping) that someone is already running this set-up without any problems. Thanks Jaime
CruxGNZ
Yes, they will fit. !M!
jaime240z
Thanks, Mat. That is good news. Are you using that size on your Z?
CruxGNZ
Pretty much, yes. I have 17x7 with the same offset. You can get a 9" wide wheel in the back with coilovers (I will someday ), so 7.5" won't be a problem for you. I just finished my own little web space tonight You can see my stuff here if you like. !M!
jaime240z
Thanks for replying, Mat. I checked out your web site. Looks good. Is your car going to be painted the same color as the suspension parts? Just curious. I think that color would look sweet with those wheels! DavyZ
Mat--the color on the suspension looks great--very trick!!! Davy
Dan Juday
Very col Mat! I gotta know. Who won the strut cartridge Tug-O-War, Ford or Chevy?
CruxGNZ
I'm not sure what color I'm painting the car as of yet. I painted my last car (which you can now see on my site ) almost the same color as my suspension, so I'm leaning towards something a bit different, a bit darker this time. Dan, Chevy WON the tug of war! It started to drag the Ford backwards! Thanks for the nice comments guys! !M!
