PanzerAce
It is a 1973 240, and it has a 3.0 Rebello in it with only ~10k miles I eventually want to get around 400whp, and I have gotten a shitton of suggestions for how to go about this. I have narrowed it down though to either swaping in a LS1, SR20DET, or RB25DET. I have heard that I could make the 400whp on the current engine, but I haven't been able to find out how to go about getting that kind of power out of it. I'm probably just not looking in the right places. Anyone have any suggestions?
240hoke
keep the rebello, turbo it down the road and make GOBS of power
PanzerAce
How would I go about doing that? would it just be swapping on a L28et head? Wouldn't I have to drop the compression as well?
PanzerAce
Just closed the deal for it. Won't actually be able to get my hands on it till January though
oldskoolZ
Well welcome tho the Z community and congrats on ur first Z, shes a bute. I'm probably just not looking in the right places. Anyone have any suggestions? As for you question, yes that kind of power is deff. achievable with a turbo L engine. Look In the FAQ, and really just search and you'll find the answers to just about any question.
