Guest 3percent
I am told these headers (Hooker pt# 2139) are for a sbc z car (1 3/4" tube). Collecting parts and dont have a chassis to confirm yet but they dont look like they would fit. Holley tech support says they are for the pickups but I did find a shop online selling them for the z chassis. Hoping someone here can confirm either way. Thanks in advance. Skids260
Those look like they are made to go around frame rails. The Hooker website shows that the part number for a small block chevy into a z is 2147-HKR http://www.holley.com/2147-1HKR.asp
jt1
I don't think there is a prayer of those fitting a SBC S30 Z. jt

rytherwr
Having recently taken a set of S&S 1 3/4 inch long tube headers off my SBC 240Z, I can tell you unequivocally, the ones in the picture won't remotely fit that combo through '78. Guest 3percent
The replies are very much appriciated. Any suggestions on a full length long tube header for a sbc / z chassis that is preferrably larger than 1 5/8" / 3" like the 2147? And because I am not yet commited to an engine combo what are the options for a BBC?
jt1
The S&S's are one option. They work, but sure aren't optimum. They've been discussed a lot, a search will turn up plenty of reading. Don't know on the BBC. jt
