where to get a turbo header?

Ive got a freind that will build turbo headers for anything. $500 for a 4 cyl, so Id imagine a 6 cyl would be around $750. maybe cheaper.

 

thats a pic of a turbo header he did for a saab. quality stuff. he has abit of a waiting list tho, lol

its for the L28, im going to be taking a chassis fabrication and high performance engine class in school coming up pretty soon and i didnt know if it would be worth the time and money to make my own or just get a stock manifold...

its either a cage or custom intake and header for the final project and i just cant choose

cage would be easier depending on what type of cage you want to go with. BUT the choice is yours of course. I've made a header myself... and a cage. I'd say the cage took longer and way more material of course, but the measuring, bending, and welding of that header was no breeze either. Don't expect to build it in a day if it's your first one. haha. GOOD LUCK
