edhunter
Found these mounts in my new speedway motors catalog, wondering if anyones used them in the Z.. looks like they'd make an easy swap? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/3274,405_SandB-Ford-Motor-Mounts.html?itemNo=ford%20mount%20engine OR these with some modifications... http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/1376,1152_Ford-Weld-In-Motor-Mounts.html?itemNo=ford%20mount%20engine How about this for a tranny mount? This is a straight one, they also make them in 2",4",6" drop versions... http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/3279,443_Straight-Tubular-Transmission-Mount.html?itemNo=ford%20transmission%20mount Just started planning a V8 swap, looking for parts and pieces.. rudypoochris
I don't know about the second and the third pieces, but the first just looks like standard late 60's motor mounts. I am using them in my 240z. The only difference appears to be that those cost $55 each and at Kragen they are under $6 each. Sounds like a raw deal. I would advise search for "Alsil" who designed a cross member that uses those or similar mounts for the 240z. It seems most of us use that setup. Also it seems most use the JTR transmission cross member for a Chevy V8 and then simply drill another hole for it all to line up.
