Posey55 Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 hi i just bought a F54 with the three speed tranny connected and was wondering how to get the torque converter off, to my knowledge they usually just slide of but from the looks of it this one has been previously modified b4 b/c its welded together i didnt want to pry it off and wanted to kno if maybe there are some bolts or something attaching it to the fly wheel Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jeffer949 Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 there should be bolts that hold the flex plate to the converter i think 4 of them maybe 5 just take off the bottom access panel and take them off you will have to spin the motor to do so.
