Danno74Z
Question. I have custom rims that are 5 lugs with 1/2" diameter lug boltholes and conical/tapered seats. 1/2" = 12.7mm and our Datsun lugs are 12mm so I'm shy .7mm or ~ 1/32" on each hole. Since these new rims have a tapered seat for the lug bolts to tighten up and center against, I don't think I have to go to the hassle or expense to drill out all the holes to put in the slightly larger 1/2" studs. What do you all think? Thanks, Danno74Z
Guest greimann
You will need that extra clearance to easily mount the wheel. The conical seat serves to center the stud in the holes. You are fine.
