Guest Anonymous
I'm ready for the final assembley of the rear 240sx brake conversion and was wondering if I really need to drill and tap the hubs to bolt on the rotors? Thanks.
auxilary
if you're using the stock 4 lug 4x114.3 setup, you should be able to just put in new longer studs, and use an 84/5 300zx 4 lug rotor (11 3/8) with the same bolt pattern.
Guest Anonymous
Thanks for the input but what I was getting at was do I need to drill and tap the hub to bolt the rotor to it. The studs are fine for my wheels. I'm extra lazy now that it is down in the 20's here is bama, but I'm also a safety freak and think that this would be a wise thing to do. Just looking for assurance that not bolting the rotor on would be ok for now. Thanks.
Guest Anonymous
I have a similar set up. Do not have the rotor bolted to the hub. It has been that way for 6 or 7 years and numerous track events (road courses) with no reliablity or safty issues. Mark
