Makenski
I was reading this article, it's brief. R32 Skyline Mayhem « When All Else Fails The second car had an rb26 swap and he modified the block by widening the coolant passage ways. I am curious if any you guys know what exactly that entails... Careless
most likely examining a spare block by cutting it near the 5th and 6th cylinder, then gun-drilling the block to be built using good measurements and precise location/tools. I think it's more work than it's worth. I don't know of many articles of ppl who had issues with that at 600hp or even 1000hp. Maybe they're withholding info. And now you just went and scared all the RB26 owners.
Makenski
Yup I did... because the straight 6.. being such a long block, the 5 and 6 cylinders are warmer than they ough to be;) I will be spending alot of time machining my block as I build up my car.
