Guest Anonymous
I finally found a 240z that I might buy. The purpose of this 240 is to have a 280zxt engine into it. My question is... The 240 has rust on the front right frame. I am not familiar w/ welding so I would have to have someone els do it and I was wondering if it would be worth it? The car is being sold for 200 which is what I was hopping to spend. I wanted to know if it would be worth it to buy or two costly to fix or unreliable after fixing. My second question, is there one particular year of the 240 which is better (lighter, better handling, ect..)? Thanks a lot!
Guest Anonymous
There's a guy named Charlie Osborne in Kingston, Ontario, Canada who makes new frame rails for the 240Z. His e-mail address is zeddfind@kos.net. He'll fix you up. You can hardly loose on a $200 car these days even if you just use it for parts. Z8
I don't know how you define "better" but the '70 240 is the lightest.
