Challenger Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Anyone ever paint or tint only the top section of the headlight cover? Im thinking of having the top painted body color (maybe tinted) and leaving the bottom clear. Any ideas on how to do this (if I do the tint) or does anyone have pictures/photoshop of this done? texis30O Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 If you paint it that will severely alter the way the light spreads out of the headlamp. If you are going to go through with it, paint the inside of the cover so that as time goes on it will not get chipped. And do the same thing if your are going ot tint it. Challenger Posted January 31, 2008 Author Share Posted January 31, 2008 Yeah I knew about painting from the inside but I thought it would look cool to have like the "sleepy eye" 240sx's (I think thats what it is called).
