Armand
Hey guys, I'm swapping out the springs on my 240 and I'm wondering if the strut bushing/insulator wears out overtime and causes a harsher ride. To clarify, this is the piece on top of the strut assembly that attaches to the body with three nuts. I'm pretty sure this piece has never been replaced just like the rest of my suspension. If I get new ones will ride quality be any better? Thanks in advance, -Armand
EMWHYR0HEN
Unless it's deteriorating, I wouldn't change it because new ones probably won't make the ride any better. If anything, take a look at your LCA bushings, steering rack, and rear suspension bushings. Youl find more change in your ride if you replace those because their probably in bad shape if their original.
