Guest Zaratustra
I got a 240z last year and it's been sitting at the border waiting for money to come and have it running. I was finally able to pay all duties for importation in Mexico and all of the taxes for permission to drive this baby in my country and now I need to get it back on track... I believe the engine is stuck and and there is no coolling system, can you advise what is the best option? Repair the engine and complete the system or a swap? As I'm a mechanics moron, I have no Idea of how complicated/expensive this will be... I made this question in another forum and someone mentioned any engine swap will need some mountings adapters, is that all needed? can someone give me more information? I'm looking right now to buy a 2003 l4 2.8 liter nissan engine with manual 5 speed trans, would that be OK? how much work would it take? Thanks for your attention and help! MJLamberson
the best way to find answers is to search the site... and no swap is going to be easy/cheap unless you swap in another l6
