randy 77zt
because of local economic conditions i decided to take a job for a year working for a government contractor in iraq.being unemployed for a year it was time to pay up.i am working as a truck mechanic on b1 in alasad.7 days a week.its hard being away from my family.but my bills will be paid in 6 months.i expected most of the people working here to be young-wrong.most people are over 35.if you are unemployed there are many companys with contracts here.so do your homework.and you should like living in a tent
Collectindust240Z
How's the sandbox treating you? Way to go, stepping up to take care of your family. Stay safe. Brian
gogriz91
Congrats on stepping up, money is the big lure for everyone but folks wearing the uniform. I've spent about a year at Al Udeid and it's amazing to see more and more contractors filling traditionally uniformed jobs, we need them. gogriz91
There's money to be made for at least another year, maybe two tops but after that, who knows. If you jumped on this in '03-'04 and hung on, you could be sitting on some serious money depending on what your "trade" was.
