sorry for the repost!!! thought my topic would get more responses here...

I guys I am new to the Z world. I have most of my experience working on my 2000 nissan frontier with a vg33. I was origianlly planning on swaping the motor into a Z31 but decieded that I want something pre 74. So Im looking at 240z's. I checked the for sale section and emailed everyone that has a 240z with what im looking for. I plan on using the car as a daily driver once my truck is sold. What are your opinions on the Z's in the for sale section? Here are the ones im looking at. I dont care to much about the body condition because that is all stuff I can fix myself. I care more about the frame, engine, transmission and all other aspects that pertain to the ca running. here are the ones Im interested in

You're really going to have to make up your own mind on which car to pick from. I suggest you look at a lot of 240Zs over the next month or two and do a lot of research here and on http://www.classiczcars.com and http://www.zcar.com. You can spend from $50 to $35,000 on a 240Z so your budget will most likely determine the condition of the car you purchase.

thanks for thoes links. They will definately aid me. The problem is right now i go to school full time and work 30+ hours so i dont have unlimited time to check out Zs. Which one of thoes would be the best use of my time to check out. Obviously the one in norcal isnt close but im planning a trip to norcal and am definately going to hit that guy with the hybrid z up
